About Daphne​

 

The DML Media Group harnesses the experience, passion and vision of its Founder and President Daphne Leroy. Daphne is a purpose-driven marketing and communications strategist with over 20 years of experience at iconic global media companies and leading social impact organizations.

 

Spanning all marketing and communications disciplines, she has held leadership positions at top media & entertainment companies, including MTV, Viacom, Time Inc., National Association for Multi-ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC), and The Paley Center for Media. Daphne began her career at FOX Broadcasting in network sales and distribution.

 

As a first-generation Haitian-American, Daphne’s professional background is rooted in social responsibility and philanthropic endeavors. Whether empowering students and young women through her volunteer work or serving as a Co-founder and Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of the Haitian Roundtable, Daphne is devoted to giving back.

 

A native New Yorker, Daphne earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing Management at Baruch College of the City University of New York. She completed the NAMIC Executive Leadership Development Program at the UCLA Anderson Graduate School of Management and the Executive Management Program sponsored by the Cable Telecommunications Association for Marketing (CTAM) at Harvard Business School.

 

Daphne sits on the Marketing Advisory Board of Baruch College’s Department of Marketing and International Business. In 2019, Cablefax Magazine named Daphne one of the most influential multi-ethnic executives in the cable television industry. In acknowledgement of her achievements and business acumen, Daphne has been recognized by Multichannel News and The Network Journal as an industry mover and shaker who is also committed to the development of her community.
